POSITION
The Interim Superintendent of Schools, Donald A. Ogilvie, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates
for the position of:

                                    PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR
                SCHOOL CLIMATE TRANSFORMATION GRANT

QUALIFICATIONS:
s degree, a permanent certificate in teaching or in a pupil personnel service area (Attendance, Guidance Counselor, School Psychologist,
School Social Worker), and a School District Administrator/School District Leader(SDA/SDL) certificate by the time of appointment. Candidates
Behavior; Prior experience with project and grant management and reporting preferred.
 

DUTIES: 
Under the direction of Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, the Project Administrator assigned to the School Transformation
Grant will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• Works collaboratively with grant partners to accomplish grant outcomes with fidelity                       
• Chairs grant required implementation teams and committees to ensure the achievement of grant goals and objectives.
• Assists in the development of required grant work and evaluation plans with grant partners.
• Supervises programmatic and fiscal operations as outlined in the grant narrative; prepares required periodic grant reports and payment requests, assists with gathering and submitting data for audits.
• Maintains files and electronic records of grant documents according to generally accepted best practices for grant management. Documents administrative requirements of grant awards, keeps a calendar of deadlines and work with staff to ensure and maintain compliance working with BPS Grants Department.
• Facilitates communication and support between providers and the evaluation consultant.
• Engages and integrates community partners, parents and students to meet the grant requirements.
• Supports/coordinates with District and Erie 1 BOCES external coaches.
• Works with Systems Analyst to verify grant related data and set up grant funded project in District system.
• Provides regular written updates to the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction.
• Maintains communication and working relationship with appropriate District level administrators to accomplish the building of the District infrastructure as outlined in the grant proposal.
• Acts as a liaison between District Leadership Team and Implementation Team, building principals/MTSS-B teams.
• Develops and maintains MTSS-B resources on the District website.
• Identifies best practices for sharing among buildings in the district.
• Assists current district staff with a readiness plan for buildings not in the present cohort.
• Submits building/classroom success stories for showcasing on District website, BOE meetings and local media; work with district PR person.
• Provides input into professional development for district staff to build capacity for sustainability.
• Implements monitoring procedures set forth in Grant services plan, including site visits, intensive monitoring audits and review monthly reports submitted by partners\prepares and transmits periodic and special reports and correspondence to appropriate local and federal authorities.
• Supports the development of all professional development and training and activities related to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support-Behavior as identified in the grant.
• Develops and manages contract activities associated with the SCT Grant.
• Attending USDOE Meeting trainings as required.

 

APPOINTMENT: 
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Interim Superintendent following assessment of training,
experience, credentials, and evaluation of service.
