                                                                       NOTICE OF POSITION 
POSITION:
The Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kriner Cash, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
                                               
                                                    DISTRICT SCREENER  TOSA- SPEECH DEPARTMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold a New York State certification as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped or Teacher of the Speech and Language Disabled.  New York State Licensure and Registration as a Speech-Language pathologist and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence as preferred.

DUTIES:
The duties of the District Screening team include but are not limited to:

  • Screen all New Entrants to the District
  • Complete individual profile sheets and class profile sheets for each District building.
  • Share results with Building Administration, CSE Chairperson, Classroom Teacher and Related Service Personnel where appropriate.
  • Indicate in a District database which student have been screened.
  • Perform assigned duties as deemed necessary.
APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, certifications, credentials and evaluation of service.  Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.
