NOTICE OF POSITION
POSITION: The Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Pamela C. Brown, is interested in receiving
applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
NATIVE AMERICAN EDUCATION AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING
APPLICATION: Candidates who wish to apply should complete an online application on the
district website at www.buffaloschools.org.
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must be certified teachers employed as contract, probationary
or temporary teachers in the Buffalo Public Schools. Preference will be given to applicants with
extensive exposure to Native American culture.
DUTIES: After school tutoring for Native American students in English or Mathematics,
on Mondays only 2:30-5:00PM through the first week of June 2013. The tutoring is being held at
School #19 in conjunction with the Native American Community Services After School Program.
APPOINTMENT: Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation
of the Superintendent following assessment of credentials, experience and
evaluation of service.
SALARY: Teacher hourly rate as per BTF contract.
