AFTER SCHOOL HUB INSTRUCTORS (Hourly Rate)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold a current New York State teaching certification for grades K-12 in a core subject areas/ special education and be currently employed with the Buffalo Public Schools as a tenured, probationary, temporary, or a certified substitute teacher.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
After School Alternative Hub Instructors will work under the supervision of the Supervisor of Alternate Education. The Supervisor as the educational leader of the program will ensure compliance with state education law and Commissioner’s Regulations. The assignment includes:

2 hours per day up to 10 hours total per week for grades 7-12

1 hour per day up to 5 hours total per week for grades 1-6
APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following the assessment of training, experience, credentials, certifications, evaluation of service and interview by the Supervisor of Alternate Education.
