NOTICE OF POSITION

 

The Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kriner Cash, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for Instructional Technology Coach Grades K-8 after school virtual teaching positions.

**LOCATION, TIMES, and DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE**

Instructional Technology Coach GRADES K-8

Virtual Hub Site: TBD

Teacher Dates: November 2020 - May 2021

Remote Hours: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (not to exceed 3.5 hours)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must currently be working for the Buffalo Public Schools as an Instructional Technology Coach. Priority in the selection of teachers will be given to qualified permanent/tenured/probationary/temporary Buffalo Public School teachers, in the order of seniority.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Provide professional development and support for District virtual instructional technology including, but not limited to, schoology, NearPod, and other instructional software specific to summer school virtual activities.
  • Assist teaching and learning staff with teacher-specific portions of the Infinite Campus student information system including, but not limited to, grade book and period-by-period attendance features.
  • Support device distribution and inventory.
  • Provide maintenance and support for teacher and student log-in information for computers and software programs
  • Support the use of relevant technology to support virtual instruction.

APPOINTMENT:   Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, credentials and evaluation of service. Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.

 

 

SALARY:             Teacher hourly rate based on BTF contract.
