2019 SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM
SCORING-GRADES 9-12 REGENTS EXAM
JUNE 3, 2019          

POSITION:              

The Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kriner Cash, is interested in receiving applications from qualified  Candidates for Grades 9 – 12 summer school Regents Exam scoring for the following exams: Comprehensive English, ELA (Common Core), Algebra I (Common Core), Integrated Algebra, Geometry, Global History and Geography, US History and Government, Living Environment, Earth Science and RCT Exams in Writing, Reading, Science, Global Studies, US History and Government, and Mathematics; for the following programs: 

            SCORING

                                                                              Hub Sites: 131 @ 4, 93, 192, 195, 205, 301, 305 

                                                                                Scoring Dates:  8/15/19, 8/16/19, 8/19/19

                                                                                   Hours:  8:00-11:30

Candidates must complete an application form available on the District website, www.buffaloschools.org/jobs.

QUALIFICATIONS:      

Candidates must be New York State or Buffalo certified in the tenure areas listed above. Priority in the selection of teachers will be given to qualified permanent/ tenured/probationary/temporary Buffalo Public School teachers in order of summer school seniority. Summer school seniority is defined as previous years of BPS summer employment in a classroom setting.

APPOINTMENT:   

Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of summer school seniority, training, credentials, certifications and evaluation of

service. Interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.

SALARY:                  Teacher hourly rate based on BTF contract.
