                                                            NOTICE OF POSITION

POSITION:
The Interim Superintendent of Schools, Donald A. Ogilvie, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:

                                ADVANCE MACHINE TECHNOLOGY/CAREER & TECHNICAL EDUCATION

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold a permanent/professional New York teaching certificate and have or be in the process of completing applications for a Based Career Awareness and/or Coordinator of Cooperative Work Study Programs Extension. Candidates must have completed three years of approved and appropriate teaching and/or administrative experience, preferably in a high school setting. Special consideration will be given to applicants who hold a CTE teaching certificate.

DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Director of Career and Technical Education:

• Compliance of all NYSED and NYSDOL guidelines as they pertain to school youth in all work based learning experiences.
• Collaborate in the set up and administration of New York State/Industry assessments.
• Oversee the Work Based Learning activities as outlined in the NYSED P-Tech grant including but not limited to in school speakers, field trips, paid and unpaid work experience. Volunteer activities, etc…
• Collaborate with partners to develop and oversee work experiences identified in NYSED P-Tech Grant.

APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Interim Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, credentials and evaluation of service.
Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.

SALARY: Teacher salary schedule.
