QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold a current New York State teaching certificate in grades K-12 core subject areas/special education and be currently employed with the Buffalo Public Schools as a tenured, probationary, temporary or a certified substitute teacher. 
                                                                       
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Medical Leave Instructors will work under the supervision of the Supervisor of Alternate Education.  The Supervisor as the educational leader of the program will assure compliance with state education law and Commissioner’s Regulations.  The assignment includes:

• 2 hours per day up to 10 hours total per week for grades 7 - 12
• 1 hour per day up to 5 hours total per week ofr grades 1 - 6
