NOTICE OF POSITION
POSITION:The Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kriner Cash is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
Medical Leave Instructors (Hourly Rate)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold a current New York State teaching certificate in grades K-12 core subject areas and be currently employed with the Buffalo Public Schools as a tenured, probationary, temporary, or a certified substitute teacher.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Medical Leave Instructors will work under the supervision of the Supervisor of Alternate Education and the Coordinator of Medical Leave. The Supervisor as the educational leader of the program will assure compliance with state education law and Commissioner’s Regulations. The assignment includes:
- 2 hours per day up to 10 hours total per week
- Monday – Friday.
APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following the assessment of training, experience, credentials, certifications, evaluation of service and interview by the Supervisor of Alternate Education.
