NOTICE OF POSITION
POSITION:
The Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kriner Cash is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
WORK BASED LEARNING COORDINATOR FOR CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION (CTE)-.1.0FTE

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold a permanent/professional New York State teaching certificate and have or be in the process of completing applications for a valid New York State Work-based Career Awareness and / or Coordinator of Cooperative Work Study Programs Extension.
EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must have completed three years of approved and appropriate teaching and/or administrative experience, in a high school setting. Special consideration will be given to applicants who hold a CTE teaching certificate.
DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Director of Career and Technical Education :
APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, certifications, credentials and evaluation of service. Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.

- Compliance of all NYSED and NYSDOL guidelines as they pertain to school youth in allwork based learning experiences
- Collaborate in the set up and administration of New York State/Industry assessments
- Oversee the Work Based Learning activities as required for NYSED CDOS pathway including but not limited to in school speakers
- field trips , paid and unpaid work experience. Volunteer activities, etc…
- Collaborate with partners to develop and oversee work experiences identified for NYSED CDOS pathway
- Responsible for required reports anddata collection as it relatesNYSED CTE certified programs
- Plan , develop and/or take part in afterschool and Saturday PD
- And other duties as assigned by the Director of Career and Technical Education
