NOTICE OF POSITION
 

POSITION: The  Superintendent, Dr.Tonja M. Williams, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:

ELEMENTARY EDUCATION TEACHER- SUMMER ORCHESTRA CAMP
Dates: July 10, 2023 – August 11, 2023

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must be New York State certified in Elementary Education (N-6).  

Preference will be given to individuals that possess certification in gifted education, have completed course work in Gifted Education and/or that have experience in the School-Wide Enrichment Model. Candidates must possess a demonstrated record of utilizing creative thinking skills as well as creative problem solving within their teaching. Individuals must have well developed interpersonal skills and be able to work as a member of a team.

Candidates must hold a New York State certification in Elementary Education. Please attach a PDF or screen shot of their certification(s).

DUTIES:

The Elementary Education Teacher will work directly with the Supervisor of Music to provide current grades 3 and 4 string students, a broad range of enrichment activities based on students’ strengths and talents. and assistance with various, daily activities.

APPOINTMENT:

Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, credentials, and evaluation of service. Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.

SALARY: As per the current BTF contract.
