NOTICE OF POSITION

POSITION:
The Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kriner Cash, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:

Project Administrator II, Libraries and Curriculum Initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS::
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Education and a New York State teaching certificate and a valid New York State School District Leader (SDL) or School District Administrator (SDA) certificate with a minimum of three years of appropriate teaching and/or worked in a supportive capacity. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of the PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR II, Libraries and Curriculum Initiatives
include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the coordination, facilitation, implementation and monitoring of instructional programs for Advanced Placement, dual credit, IB and other accelerated courses;
  • Coordinate necessary professional development and purchases;
  • Serve as a liaison to partner colleges and cultivate new partnerships;
  • Work with partners to track college enrollment and other relevant post-secondary data;
  • Support college transition courses;
  • Track and disaggregate enrollment and relevant academic data;
  • Work to improve enrollment of typically underserved students in advanced coursework;
  • Manage contracts/agreements with partners;
  • Facilitate RFPs, Board recommendations, contracts, requisitions and extra activity payrolls;
  • Assist with the development of budgets and budget narratives;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, credentials, certifications and evaluation of service.  Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.

 

SALARY:                  Administrator’s salary schedule.
