NOTICE OF POSITION

POSITION:

The  Superintendent, Dr.Tonja M. Williams, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:

 

PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER - SUMMER ORCHESTRA CAMP
Dates: July 10, 2023 – August 11, 2023

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must hold a New York State certification in Music OR Technology and be currently employed with the Buffalo Public Schools as a probationary or tenured teacher. Please attach a PDF or screen shot of their certification(s). Candidates must specialize performing stringed instruments. DUTIES: The Music Technology teacher will work directly with the Supervisor of Music to provide current grades 3 and 4 string students, with assistance using music specific technology on their 1:1 devices, creating digital portfolios, support during clubs, and assistance with various, daily activities.

Physical Education teachers will work directly with the Supervisor of Music to provide current grades 3 and 4 string students, physical education activities, support during clubs, and assistance with various, daily activities.   

APPOINTMENT:.

Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, credentials, and evaluation of service. Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate



SALARY: As per the current BTF contract.
