POSITION:
The Superintendent, Dr. Tonja M. Williams Knight, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:

Current Buffalo Public School Administrators interested in working as an Administrator for any 2025 Summer School Program, must apply to this intent posting.
LOCATION and DATES:
Subject to change according to the needs of the District
BCSA seniority and staffing processes will be followed.
Summer School Program assignments are determined by the needs of the District.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be current Buffalo Public School Administrators to be considered for a Summer School Administrator position. Assignments will be awarded based on the current BCSA contract for Summer School administrators.
DUTIES:
Under the direction of the District, the Summer School Administrators will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Setting up summer school and ensuring that systems are in place for a successful program (Infinite Campus, schedules, safety, staffing)

Providing professional and ethical leadership for all aspects of the school's operation during summer School programing

Day to day operations, student discipline, transportation, security, and support of all educational programs at the school; including Regents testing, proctoring, and scoring.

Providing direction and support, that is conducive to student learning at the highest possible level, to teachers and other staff members.

Attending summer school meetings and participating in collaborative initiatives when needed

Communicating with summer school staff, parents, guardians, community leaders, or other school/educational partners as needed.

APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, certifications, credentials and evaluation of service. Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.
SALARY:
Summer School Stipend: Full day: $318 Half day: $212
