NOTICE OF POSITION

 

POSITION:

Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Tonja Williams, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree and permanent /professional teaching certificate, contract status with at least 5 years’ experience as a teacher in the Buffalo Public Schools.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direction of the Buffalo Teacher Resource and Computer Center’s Policy Board and with the supervision of the designated District Administrator, the Co-Director will be responsible to:

  • Implement the Teacher Center Grant and Budget
  • Coordinate all Buffalo Teacher Center activities including but not limited to, course development/presentation, collaboration on implementation of the Grant with written communication/publication.

  • Serve as Buffalo Teacher Center Policy Board liaison to the Buffalo Public Schools and the State Education Department.

  • Perform all duties as defined by the Policy Board
     

SELECTION:

Appointment will be made by Buffalo Teacher Center Resource and Computer Center Policy Board. The appointment will continue, contingent upon funding, unless incumbent is removed under provisions of the BTF contract or Education Law 316, subject to an annual meeting of a committee of the Policy Board.

 

SALARY:    Teacher’s Salary plus $300.
