NOTICE OF POSITION
POSITION:
The Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kriner Cash, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
Core Subject Area Teachers (Science, Math, ELA and Social Studies)
and Secondary Special Education Teachers
MST High School

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have earned a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree and have a New York State teaching certificate in a secondary core content area (Math, Science, English, Social Studies) or secondary special education. The candidate must have a demonstrated record of experience in high rigor instruction and project-based learning. Candidates must possess a recognized interest in applied learning, cross-disciplinary common planning related to authentic STEM instructional integration and the ability to create and implement student-driven group instruction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The teacher will plan lessons individually and collaboratively that highly engage students using a project-based learning approach and integrates STEM experiences and content throughout the year. The teacher will primarily facilitate high rigor learning in a cooperative group-based learning approach on a consistent basis. The teacher will collaborate with higher education, business and community partners.
APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following the assessment of training, experience, credentials, certifications, evaluation of service, program needs and interview.
SALARY: Per teacher’s salary schedule
FUNDING: Pending funding
