NOTICE OF POSTION POSITION:
The Superintendent of Schools, Pamela C. Brown, is interested in receiving applications from qualified
candidates for the following part-time hourly positions in the Adult Career Education Program (Day/Evening)
for the 2014-2015 school year:
ADULT EDUCATION BARBERING INSTRUCTOR/PART-TIME HOURLY

QUALIFICATIONS:
All applicants must hold a New York State Master Barbering license. A minimum of at east 5 years of
experience behind the chair. Be knowledgeable of the NYS Practical Barbering examination.
DUTIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Instruction of the Curriculum for barbering
according to NYS Division of Licensing Services. Demonstrate all procedures, including safety and sanitation.
Maintain grade records, attendance books and lesson plans. Attend classed in continuing education and
communication in the industry.
APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent
following assessment of training, experience, credentials and evaluation of service. Personal interviews
will be scheduled where appropriate.
SALARY: Hourly vocational teacher rate.
