NOTICE OF POSITION
POSITION:The Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kriner Cash, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
RtI ELEMENTARY MATH COACH - FRANK A. SEDITA ELEMENTARY #30

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree and New York State certification in Elementary Education 1 - 6, Special Education 1 – 6 or Mathematics. Candidates must have five years of teaching and/or coaching experience in an urban school district. Knowledge and experience with implementing CCLS for Math. Experience with working with teams of teachers to review math data and plan instructional action to support learning. Experience with writing, implementing and monitoring Student Intervention Records and Data.
DUTIES:
- Coordinate the school’s RTI initiative for Tiers 2 & 3 for Math.
- Member of the Instructional Leadership team.
- Work with teachers to implement effective classroom instructional strategies.
- Work with teachers to write and support Student Intervention Records.
- Attend required professional development and district meetings.
- Provide professional development to faculty and staff as needed.
- Provide data and reports as required to monitor student progress.
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of credentials, certification, experience and evaluation of service. Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.
SALARY: Teacher’s salary schedule.
