POSITION:
The Principal of Dr. A. Pantoja # 18 is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
Teacher: - Extended Learning Time
After School Program at School #18 various grades levels/subjects

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidates must hold a valid General Education and/or Special Education New York certificate in grades K-12 core.
- Candidate should be able to plan differentiated instruction for students needing remediation in ELA and/or Math.
- Candidate should be able to implement CCLS and instructional shifts in appropriate subject areas.
- Candidate should be able to provide meaningful instruction including enrichment activities to improve overall academic achievement for our students.
- Candidates should be able to work at least 2 of 4 days per week for 2 hours per day after school (3:45 – 5:45 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teachers will work under the supervision of the Building Administration:
- Instructing students on grade level coursework using differentiated strategies and approaches effective in working with students.
- Provide instruction to students’ in ELA and Math according to CCLS.
- Prepare lessons for students using curriculum provided by school administrator.
- Outside planning time will be necessary.
- Administer pre and post assessments, maintain attendance, and as needed, communicate and provide information to parents on the progress of their child.
- Complete and comply with all NYS Office of Children & Family Services paperwork and regulations.
- Attend mandatory program training after school.
