NOVEMBER 17, 2017 WELDING TEACHER
POSITION:
The Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kriner Cash is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
WELDING TEACHER

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold or be in pursuit of a New York State teaching certificate in Welding or have an Associates Degree with two years of full time work as a welder. Candidates that have four years of full time work as a welder must be willing to apply for the NYState Welding Certification. It is required that candidates must attach a PDF or a screen shot of their certifications. Skills needed include, but are not limited to: Instructing students in the area of Welding, all aspects of the Industry Curriculum, which includes but is not limited to:
- Metal Working Safety
- Bench Work
- Metallurgy
- Metal Preparation
- Oxy Fuel Gas Welding-Equipment Setup & Operation
- Shielded Metal Arc Welding
APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of credentials, experience and evaluation of service.
Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.
