PROCTORING-GRADES 9-12 REGENTS EXAMS
JUNE 3, 2019

 

 

POSITION:

The Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kriner Cash, is interested in receiving applications from qualified Candidates for Grades 9 – 12 summer school Regents Exam proctoring for the following exams: Comprehensive English, ELA (Common Core), Algebra I (Common Core), Integrated Algebra, Geometry, Global History and Geography, US History and Government, Living Environment, Earth Science and RCT Exams in Writing, Reading, Science, Global Studies, US History and Government, and Mathematics; for the following programs:

PROCTORING

Hub Sites: 131 @ 4, 93, 192, 195, 205, 301, 305

Proctoring Dates: 8/13/19 & 8/14/19

                                                                   Hours: 8:15-11:45 a.m. & 11:45-3:15 p.m.
 

    • Teachers that are hired to proctor will work only 3.5 hrs. a day (A.m. or P.m.)
    • Substitute teachers, if hired as proctors, are required to work a full day.

Candidates must complete an application form available on the District website, www.buffaloschools.org/jobs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be current BPS employees. BTF employees will have first rights to proctoring positions. If more candidates are needed after the BTF list of employees has been exhausted, then substitute teachers will be considered. Proctors must be able to continuously monitor students during the exam.


APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of summer school seniority, training, credentials, certifications and evaluation of service. Interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.
