• PS 192 Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts  
• Subject to change according to needs of the district

• Teachers – PD/Setup July 6-7 
• Students – 7/10-8/11
• Grading/cleanup – 8 /14

POSITION:

The Superintendent, Dr. Tonja M. Williams, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:

SUMMER SCHOOL 2023
ART TEACHER - SUMMER ORCHESTRA CAMP
Dates: July 10, 2023 – August 11, 2023

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must hold a New York State certification in Art Education.  Please attach a PDF or screen shot of their certification(s).

DUTIES:

The Art Teacher will work directly with the Supervisor of Music to provide current grades camp students, Art lessons, support during clubs, and assistance with various, daily activities.   

APPOINTMENT:

Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, credentials, and evaluation of service. Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.

 

SALARY: As per the current BTF contract.
