NOTICE OF POSITION
POSITION: The Superintendent of Schools Dr. Tonja Williams is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
After School Medical Leave Instructors

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have earned a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree and have a New York State teaching certificate in a core or special subject content area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Medical Leave Instructors will work under the supervision of the Supervisor of Alternate Education. The Supervisor as the educational leader of the program will assure compliance with State Education Law and Commissioner’s Regulations. The assignment includes:

Grades K-6 1 hours per day up to 5 hours total per week Monday – Friday

Grades 7-12 2 hours per day up to 5 hours total per week Monday – Friday

Provide Home School with grades and attendance

Where applicable administrator NYS Assessments
APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following the assessment of training, experience, credentials, evaluation of service and interview by the Supervisor of Alternate Education.
SALARY: Hourly after school rate
